The Global Systems for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA) has decided to leave Russia without a pavilion at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, EFE agency mentions, with reference to the organizers, Report informs, citing TASS.
"This decision was made against the backdrop of the start of a special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. Given the current situation, "there will be no Russian pavilion at MWC," the GSMA said in a statement.
MWC is one of the world's largest mobile industry trade shows, bringing together mobile operators, merchants, and content owners worldwide. This year the congress is to be held from February 28 to March 3.
