A rally has been held in front of the residence of the Turkish embassy in Washington under the slogan “End of Armenian lies.”
According to Report’s US bureau, the rally was organized to draw attention to Armenian lies in response to mass demonstrations held by American Armenians in New York, Los Angeles and Washington on the anniversary of the so-called “Armenian genocide.”
The rally was attended by representatives of the Turkish and Azerbaijani communities living in Washington.
The participants of the rally near the building of the diplomatic mission, holding the flags of Türkiye, Azerbaijan and the US, exposed the Armenian lies based on the facts.
In the speeches, it was noted that historical documents confirm that in 1915 there was no genocide against Armenians in Türkiye. However, in those years and in different periods of history, the Armenians created numerous armed formations, committed massacres in certain cities and towns, and committed inhuman acts against the population. During the speeches, it was emphasized that the genocide claimed by the Armenians is a lie.
The rally also featured photos of dozens of Turkish diplomats killed by members of the Armenian terrorist organization ASALA in the 1970s.
The local press and various media showed great interest in the rally.
The demonstration, during which slogans exposing Armenian lies were chanted, ended without incident.
