Qatar says Iran-Israel ceasefire creates momentum for new Gaza talks, Report informs referring to The Times of Israel citing Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed Al-Ansari.
"Now is the time for US President Donald Trump to take the initiative, and we believe he is serious <...> We are ready to help in this," Ansari says.
"The ceasefire in Iran and Israel has given momentum to the talks. However, we are not out of a tight spot yet. There are many details that I cannot discuss now, but I can tell you that these are the same issues that are constantly changing in the negotiations," he said.
Ansari also calls the Iranian strikes on the US base in Qatar "a blow to the relations" of his country with Tehran.
