Putin says Moscow ready for negotiations with West regarding situation in Ukraine

At the extended meeting of the collegium of the Ministry of Defense, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that his country is ready for negotiations with the West regarding the situation in Ukraine, but it should be in Moscow's interests, Report informs.
The Russian leader also noted that Ukraine's membership in NATO will be unacceptable for the Kremlin not only now but also in the future: "But we do not intend to fight with Europe and NATO."
According to the head of state, Russia has always tried to establish normal relations with Ukraine.
