Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated his American counterpart Donald Trump on US Independence Day, Report informs referring to Russian media.
This happened for the first time in the last five years. Putin personally congratulated Trump on July 4 in a telephone conversation the day before.
The last time the Russian president congratulated a US president on the national holiday was in July 2020 - Trump was also the head of the White House at that time.
