Production, export of natural gas grows in Turkmenistan

Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Shahym Abdrahmanov announced the production indicators for the first seven months of 2021 during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Report informs.

From January through July 2021, the Turkmen fuel and energy complex achieved the highest growth rate in gas exports – a 137-percent increase, compared to the same period of 2020.

High growth rates were observed in gas production, both natural and associated (123.5 percent).

The plan for the growth of investments in the fuel and energy complex was also overfulfilled at 105.5 percent.
