Peter Stano: No single position in EU regarding recognition of Russian presidential elections

The countries of the European Union (EU) do not have a unified position on recognizing the presidential elections in Russia, Peter Stano, Spokesperson for foreign affairs and security policy of the European Union said, Report informs via foreign media.
The politician said there is no EU position that would say that the union does not recognize Vladimir Putin as a legitimate representative of Russia.
Stano emphasized that the decision of the ambassadors of a number of EU countries to attend the inauguration of Russian President Vladimir Putin is a sovereign decision of each of the community countries.
