Peskov views Zelenskyy's peace talk readiness positively

The Kremlin welcomes Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's expressed readiness for peace negotiations with Russia, conveyed in a letter to US President Donald Trump, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told journalists, Report informs via Russian media.
However, it is important to note that Kyiv's ban on negotiations with Moscow remains in effect, he stated.
"We are positive. The question is with whom to sit at the negotiating table. For now, the legal ban by the Ukrainian President holding talks with the Russian side is in force. Therefore, the overall approach is positive, but the nuances have not changed yet," Peskov highlighted.
