Negotiations on the accession of Ukraine and Moldova to the European Union are political, said Dmitry Peskov, Spokesperson of the Russian President, Report informs.
Peskov also noted that the Kremlin is closely monitoring the negotiation process, emphasizing that neither Ukraine nor Moldova meet the criteria for joining the EU.
