Personal phone numbers of 3 UK cabinet ministers found online

The personal mobile phone numbers of three UK Cabinet ministers - including Defense Secretary Wes Streeting - have been found published online alongside their names, Report informs referring to Politico.

After checking through a list of Cabinet members, POLITICO found three published on the web, for Streeting, Justice Secretary Alex Norris and Northern Ireland Secretary Chris Bryant.

POLITICO is not pointing to where the numbers can be found to avoid further risking security.

All three ministers declined to comment on the record.

The reference to Streeting's number online has since been deleted, and officials are working to remove the other two.

Ministers are given secure government devices to conduct business for their briefs, in particular for high-risk roles like defense, and are expected to use those for non-personal comms.
