Personal data of approximately 14 million users of the Japanese flight booking service Sky Ticket has been compromised as a result of a cyberattack, Report informs referring to Japanese public TV.
Attackers gained unauthorized access to the company's system. Among the stolen information are user names, email addresses, bank details, and passwords.
Sky Ticket confirmed the leak, but did not specify the exact number of affected users.
The company apologized for the incident and sent notifications to clients recommending that they change their passwords to protect their accounts.
