Pakistan urges US and Iran to end hostilities and resume talks

Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on the United States and Iran to end hostilities and resume negotiations to resolve their disputes, according to Pakistani media citing Interfax, Report informs.
Tahir Andrabi, a spokesperson for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, emphasized that the conflict should be settled at the negotiating table.
"Pakistan will continue to urge the parties to cease violence and resume technical talks in accordance with the memorandum of understanding," the ministry spokesperson stated.
Earlier in July, US President Donald Trump resumed strikes against Iran and declared the ceasefire over. Last week, the US Permanent Representative to the UN, Mike Waltz, noted that expert-level negotiations regarding the Iranian nuclear program had nonetheless not ceased.
