Pakistan reaffirms mediating role in US-Iran dialogue

Pakistan's Foreign Ministry will continue engaging with the parties involved in the technical negotiations between the United States and Iran, which are set to continue through the end of the week in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, Pakistan's Foreign Minister, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, said in a post on X.

According to Report, Dar reiterated that Pakistan has played-and will continue to play-a role in promoting lasting peace and stability both in the Middle East and beyond.

"I warmly welcome the substantial progress achieved at the High-Level Technical Talks held in Burgenstock, Switzerland, and congratulate Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as well as COAS & CDF Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their visionary leadership and tireless efforts in achieving this milestone," the post reads.
