Pakistan carries out strike against terrorists near Afghan border

Pakistan"s military has conducted an operation against terrorists of the group known as Fitna al-Khawarij in areas bordering Afghanistan.

According to Report, Pakistan's Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said that 26 militants were killed during the operation.

"Based on credible intelligence, precision strikes were carried out against militant camps and hideouts. Four facilities were completely destroyed, including a training center, a hideout, an ammunition depot, and centers linked to commanders of the Fitna al-Khawarij group," Tarar wrote.

The minister also stressed that Pakistan remains committed to maintaining peace and stability in the region, but the security and protection of its citizens remain the country's top priority.

"The ongoing counterterrorism campaign against militants will continue in full force with the aim of eliminating terrorism," Tarar said.
