Over 70 killed in Nepal amid mass protests

More than 70 people have died during mass protests in Nepal, local authorities said, Report informs via Nepal News.
"A total of 72 people have died. Another 191 injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at various hospitals and medical facilities across the country," said government spokesperson Eaknarayan Aryal.
He added that the fatalities occurred during protests on September 8, as well as from fires and unrest that took place on September 9.
