Over 30 injured in trams' collision in Poland

Over 30 people were injured in a collision between two trams in Poznan, located in central-western Poland.
Report informs citing TASS that according to the Polish Press Agency, which refers to the local police, the accident occurred in the area of the Starolenka roundabout in Poznan. A total of 31 people suffered in the collision. Twenty-nine of them were taken to several local hospitals. The driver of one of the trams sustained the worst injury. Firefighters and ambulance crews worked at the scene. A rescue helicopter was also involved in assisting the victims.
The causes of the incident are yet to be established, with the investigation already underway. Tram traffic in this section is temporarily suspended.
