Only ignorance or stupidity can get in way of peace in Middle East, Trump says

Israel and Iran, are looking to do an immediate ceasefire, US President Donald Trump said in a post on Truth Socia, according to Report.

"Both sides, Israel and Iran, are looking to do an immediate CEASEFIRE! Final negotiations on 'Peace' are proceeding, subject to ignorance or stupidity getting in its way," he said.

Trump added that the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz will remain in place, and in full force and effect, until a "final deal" is reached.

He noted that things should move quickly.
