One tourist died and four people were injured after a lightning strike on the summit of Mount Monrolo in Indonesia's South Sulawesi province, Report informs via the ANTARA news agency.
According to Muhammad Arif Anwar, head of the Makassar Search and Rescue Agency, the tragedy occurred on Sunday evening when a group of five tourists climbed to the summit of Mount Monrolo, which is approximately 1,109 meters high.
More than 40 search and rescue personnel, firefighters, medics, and volunteers were dispatched to evacuate the victims and the body of the deceased.
