One killed, 13 injured after plane crash in Beijing

The pilot was killed and 13 people were injured after a light aircraft crashed in Beijing, the administration of Beijing's Chaoyang District has said.
According to Reuters, cited by Report, the incident occurred on June 26, when a single-engine, two-seat light sport aircraft collided with a high-rise building near the eastern section of the city's Third Ring Road during flight.
"The aircraft was carrying only the pilot, who died in the crash," the district administration said in a statement.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
Preliminary reports indicate that the impact shattered two large glass facade panels of the skyscraper. All 13 injured people are receiving medical treatment.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
