Norwegian PM says drone threatened Zelenskyy's plane

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's plane narrowly avoided being hit by a drone while taking off from Moldova, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said.

According to Report, citing NRK, the incident occurred while the Ukrainian president was traveling to Oslo.

Støre said Zelenskyy's aircraft came close to being hit by a drone during takeoff from Moldova, adding that the incident reflected the security risks the Ukrainian leader faces.

Zelenskyy's visit to Oslo began with his participation in official mourning events. The Ukrainian president attended the funeral ceremony for Norway's King Harald.
