According to Report, citing Xinhua, the information was provided by Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency.

A multi-agency rescue operation was launched on Thursday morning in Alakija, a rapidly growing satellite town along the busy Lagos–Badagry Expressway, following the building's collapse.
