Netanyahu, Trump mull new escalation in Middle East by phone

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump discussed the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East during a telephone conversation, Report informs referring to the Israeli TV channel Channel 12.
According to the channel's source, the Israeli military is now awaiting instructions from the political leadership on next steps.
Earlier today, Trump, on the social media platform TruthSocial, demanded that Israel and Iran immediately cease fire.
Shortly thereafter, Iran announced a halt to strikes on Israel. Iran, however, threatened further attacks in the event of an escalation in Lebanon.
