Nearly 70,000 migrants return to Morocco from Spain's Ceuta

Nearly 69,500 migrants who crossed into Spain's tiny Ceuta territory returned to Morocco over the past 30 hours, Report informs via the EFE news agency.

The installation of protective barriers has also begun at the Tarajal border crossing.

Sources in law enforcement agencies said the figure may include not only migrants who arrived in Ceuta during the latest mass influx but also those who had already been there.

Police also do not rule out the possibility that some migrants crossed the border several times in both directions over the past day. Therefore, the actual number of people involved may be lower than the announced figure.
