Nearly 15,000 migrants from CIS countries live in Hungary

The total number of migrants from the CIS countries in Hungary is approximately 15,000, Aron Kincses, president of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office, said at the 3rd CIS International Statistical Forum in Baku, Report informs.
"We have data from the Ministry of the Interior for 2025, according to which approximately 15,000 people born in the CIS countries live in Hungary. Most of them are concentrated in Budapest and the country's major cities. Over time, they contribute to the country's cultural and economic development, while maintaining ties to their historical homeland," he noted.
