In Myanmar, police used firearms to disperse a protest against the military takeover.
Report informs, citing TASS, that 14 demonstrators were detained during a rally in the Myanmar city of Mawlamyine.
Police searched the university grounds in Mawlamyine.
The students and teachers also joined the national strike of the Myanmar Civil Disobedience Movement.
Protests have been taking place in various cities for seven days. Myanmar's military has declared a state of emergency since February 1.
