Fundamental changes will be made in Ukraine to the military mobilization system and the operations of military commissariats, Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Defense Mstyslav Banik said at a press conference in Kyiv, Report informs.
According to him, the reform will directly concern citizens who are wanted for violating military registration rules and are not serving: "One of the reasons for evading mobilization is the fear of uncertainty. Some currently see their prospects as follows: they will be mobilized and never return. They are afraid that if they take part in combat operations, they will not come back. They are afraid they won't understand when this service will end. Therefore, the reforms will specify concrete terms of service, corresponding terms depending on the places of service."
Banik stated that there will be no talk of full demobilization in the Ukrainian army while the war is ongoing.
