Russia has no plans to continue the peace treaty talks with Japan, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova told Sputnik radio, citing Tokyo's 'unfriendly' actions.
"Tokyo is openly trying to deal a blow to our interests. It is impossible to speak about signing the relevant documents in such circumstances," the official said.
Moscow suspended the peace treaty talks with Tokyo after Japan introduced sanctions against Russia for its military actions in Ukraine.
