Montenegro and France have signed an agreement worth €100 million, according to Report's Balkan bureau.
The signing took place in Tivat on June 5, during the EU–Western Balkans Summit, with the participation of French President Emmanuel Macron and Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
The agreement was signed by Novica Vuković, Montenegro's Finance Minister, and Bertrand Walckenaer, Deputy Executive Director of the French Development Agency.
Vuković said France's trust in Montenegro confirms that ongoing reforms are delivering results. "The agreement signed with the French Development Agency is an investment aimed at a better environment, energy transition, and our country's sustainable European future," he emphasized.
