Mexican ambassador notes high level of organization of WUF13 in Baku

The significance of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) for Mexico is reflected in the caliber of the delegation represented in Baku, Mexican Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Maria Victoria Romero Caballero, said at the closing press conference of WUF13, Report informs.

"The Minister of Urban Planning, the Governor of Mexico City, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and many colleagues from various levels of government were present here. Mexico now begins the process of preparing for WUF14. My colleagues are returning immediately to take this task with them – with full determination to continue the work and make the next forum no less successful than this one," the diplomat said.

The ambassador also noted the forum's high level of organization: "We express our deep gratitude for your support and generosity, and for making our stay in Azerbaijan a truly successful experience. We were once again able to appreciate the hospitality of the Azerbaijani people-the young women and men who accompanied us, assisted us with our work, exchanged opinions, and, in the case of Mexico, helped with notes and all organizational matters."
