"Turkey has evacuated 1,404 people from Afghanistan," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said at a joint press conference with his Uruguayan counterpart.
According to him, 1,061 of them are Turkish citizens: "At present, 200 out of 4,500 of our citizens want to back from Afghanistan. A significant part of them said they did not want to return."
