Media: Pressure on Türkiye regarding NATO expansion is futile

The pressure on Türkiye regarding the expansion of NATO is futile, diplomatic sources in Ankara told the local media, Report informs.

It was noted that Sweden is waiting for the approval of the NATO membership application within a few weeks: "Pressure is being put on Türkiye in this regard. But the document is unlikely to be approved in the near future. Türkiye will have the last word in this matter."

Qeyd olunub ki, İsveç NATO-ya üzvlüklə bağlı ərizənin bir neçə həftə ərzində təsdiqini gözləyir: “Bununla bağlı Türkiyəyə təzyiq edilir. Amma sənəd çətin ki, yaxın müddətdə təsdiqlənsin. Bu məsələdə son sözü Türkiyə deyəcək”.
