India will resume talks with the US on a new trade deal next week, Report informs referring to The Economic Times citing a source in the Indian government.
He noted that the head of the Indian delegation at the talks, Rajesh Agarwal, will travel to Washington to continue discussions on bilateral trade and a new deal to boost trade between India and the US.
"This will end the pause in the negotiating process that followed the introduction of 50 percent US tariffs on Indian exports. However, it is not yet clear whether the US will offer any tariff relief at the talks," the source said.
