Western military instructors may travel to Ukraine to train the Ukrainian military, which could be the first step towards implementing French President Emmanuel Macron’s initiative to send NATO troops, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said, Report informs referring to TASS.
“Our troops trained Ukrainians in Ukraine even before the outbreak of hostilities, we did this for many years. It is realistic to return to this practice. This would be the first step in President Macron’s initiative,” he noted.
He added that this is more practical than training the Ukrainian military outside Ukraine.
