Latvian Armed Forces: Allied fighter jets shoot down drone that entered national airspace

A drone was shot down in Latvian airspace, the Latvian National Armed Forces (NBS) press service said on X, according to Report.
"Allied fighter jets successfully shot down a drone that entered Latvian airspace," the statement said, accompanied by the flags of France and Latvia.
In a separate message, the NBS said that a potential threat in Latvian airspace cannot be ruled out.
"The Latvian National Armed Forces (NBS) inform about possible threats in Latvian airspace. No further action is currently required. If the situation escalates, you will be informed via notification," the statement added.
