Ukraine is ready for an energy ceasefire and is awaiting a specific list of facilities from Russia to agree on the details, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi said.
According to Report, citing Ukrainian media, Tykhyi made the remarks at a briefing.
He said Kyiv hoped that under a ceasefire arrangement with Russia in the energy sector, Ukrainian facilities would be fully protected and the use of all types of weapons against them would be completely prohibited.
"If the Russians are seriously ready for this, they should provide lists of facilities and clarify the details. We are waiting for this. We would also like Russia to demonstrate its readiness for this de-escalation. I think all the necessary solutions could then be found," Tykhyi said.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stressed that the United States' efforts to reach such an agreement were an important and timely step.
Tykhyi added that several other partner countries were also working on solutions related to energy and grain exports.
