The NATO-led international peacekeeping force (KFOR) has increased patrols in northern Kosovo and is ready to intervene if a conflict breaks out, Report informs via Tanjug News.
The NATO mission said that KFOR has strengthened its presence at the Jarinje and Brnjak checkpoints and increased the number of patrols to have a complete picture of the situation.
“These measures are implemented so that, if necessary, KFOR can respond to any security call. We want to assure everyone that KFOR is ready to intervene if needed,” the NATO mission told Tanjug.
