Josep Borrell reveals purpose of visit to Lebanon

High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell will have important meetings on the impact of the Gaza war on Lebanon and the region, Report informs.

"Happy to be back in Lebanon to show support during these difficult times.

"The priority is to avoid regional escalation and to advance diplomatic efforts with a view to creating the conditions to reach a just and lasting peace between Israel, Palestine and in the region," Borrell said on X.
