Japan, US and France to hold joint military exercises in two oceans

Japan, the United States, and France will operate joint training from 11 to 17 May, Report informs, citing TRT Haber.
According to Japanese Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi, for the first time in Kyushu in the south-west of the country, the ground forces of the three countries will hold large-scale joint military exercises:
"We aim to grow the tactical and combat capabilities of our country's Self-Defense Forces by strengthening cooperation between Japan, the US, and France in the protection of remote islands."
The activities are expected to take place on land in the southern Indian and Pacific Oceans.
