Italy to hold Ukraine recovery conference in April

The Ukraine recovery conference, organized by the Italian government, is scheduled for April 26, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy Antonio Tajani said, Report informs via TASS.

"Today, during a communication session with the G7 foreign ministers, I announced that our government will organize the Ukraine recovery conference on April 26 with the participation of Italian companies. Our commitment to peace and freedom for the Ukrainian people remains unchanged," Tajani wrote on Twitter.

Representatives of the Italian leadership have long stated their intention to hold such a conference. Its details and information about the participants have not yet been reported. It is known that, among other things, Italy wants to offer Ukraine access to world markets through its ports in Trieste and Venice, making a logistics center in Verona.
