Israeli government holds emergency meeting following Beirut explosion

The Israeli government convened urgently following an explosion involving portable communication devices used by Hezbollah in Beirut, Lebanon, Report informs via foreign media.
It was noted that Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and other officials are participating in the meeting led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Approximately 2,000 people were injured in the explosion.
