The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out a strike in Gaza City targeting the leader of Hamas's military wing, Iz al-Din al-Haddad, according to Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz.
As per Report, Katz stated that al-Haddad was one of the planners of the 7 October 2023 attack on Israel carried out by Palestinian militants.
He further claimed that al-Haddad had refused to comply with an agreement reached with the involvement of US President Donald Trump regarding the disarmament of Hamas and the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip.
"This is a clear message to all those who threaten our lives: sooner or later, Israel will reach you," Katz said.
