The Israel Defense Forces says troops of the Paratroopers Brigade, including senior officers, are working to clear the southern city of Sderot of suspected terrorists who infiltrated into Israel over the past two days, Report informs, citing The Times of Israel.

“The Paratroopers Brigade is engaged in persistent fighting, during which the commanders and fighters of the brigade are carrying out searches in the towns and thwarting terrorists,” the IDF says in a statement.
