Israel's chief of general staff to visit US

Israel's Chief of the General Staff, Herzi Halevi, is set to travel tonight on an official visit to the United States from February 17 to 20, the Israel Defense Forces said on X, Report informs.
"During the visit, he will meet with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Commander of CENTCOM, and other senior US military officials to discuss key strategic and operational issues," IDF said.
Halevi "will take the opportunity to express his gratitude to his counterparts for their support, commitment, and personal ties." Additionally, he will explore ways to further enhance this cooperation.
