Israel's Permanent Representative to the UN, Danny Danon, harshly criticized international organizations UN Women and UNICEF for remaining silent following a massive missile strike by Iran, which resulted in civilian casualties and injuries in Israel, according to Report.
"Iran launched a brutal missile attack on Israel — deliberately targeting civilian areas. Israeli women and children were murdered. Others were severely injured. Families shattered," he said in a post on X.
Danon condemned the lack of response from UN Women and UNICEF.
"No condemnation. No outrage. No solidarity. Do Israeli women and children not matter to you? Would you stay silent if this happened anywhere else?" he asks.
