Iran says it has full sovereign control over Strait of Hormuz

Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref says Tehran's control over the Strait of Hormuz "is an exercise of our legal and sovereign right over our national wealth," Report informs referring to Al Jazeera.

"The Strait of Hormuz is the property of Iran," Reza Aref said, as reported by Iran's ISNA news agency.

"We are fully prepared to confront the enemy," the vice president said, adding: "We will make any enemy who so much as looks askance at Iran regret it."
