Iran executes man accused of espionage for US and Israel

Iran has executed a man convicted of spying for the intelligence services of the United States and Israel, according to judiciary-affiliated news agency Mizan, cited by Report.
The individual, identified as Erfan Shakurzadeh, worked at a scientific organization linked to satellite operations. He was accused of transferring classified scientific data to foreign intelligence services.
According to the human rights group Iran Human Rights, the 29-year-old aerospace engineering graduate was arrested in 2025.
