India leads in ranking of COVID-19 recovery rate

In India, the coronavirus cases have increased by 93,337 over the past day, reaching 5,308,014, said the Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Report informs, citing TASS, that in the last 24 hours, the number of people treated for COVID-19 rose by 95,880 to 4,208,431, making the country a world leader in this indicator.
"India has become the world's largest coronavirus survivor, surpassing the United States. The total number of recovered persons has exceeded 4.2 million," the ministry said on Twitter.
According to the agency, the number of deaths increased by 1,247 people to 85,619 on the last day. It is the third indicator in the world after the United States and Brazil. Currently, 1,013,964 patients are receiving treatment.
