IDF reports on hundreds of rockets fired from Lebanon to Israel

Two waves of rockets totaling about a hundred were launched from Lebanon towards the northern territories of Israel, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Report informs referring to Interfax.
On the morning of March 12, Hezbollah, based in Lebanon, launched about 70 rockets towards Israel, the military said, calling it one of the heaviest attacks since the terrorist attacks of October 7, 2023.
Later, about 30 more rockets were launched towards Israel. They all landed in open areas and no air raid alarms were sounded in local communities during the attack.
There were no reports of casualties after both attacks.
The shelling followed Israeli strikes on Hezbollah targets in the Lebanese city of Baalbek.
