IDF announces detention of hundreds of terrorists in Gaza hospital

More than 500 terrorism suspects have been detained as part of an ongoing operation at Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip.

This is the largest number of terrorists detained since the start of the war, the press service of the Israel Defense Force (IDF) said in a statement, according to Report.

More than 500 suspects have been detained including 358 from Hamas and Islamic Jihad, the statement said.

Fighting continues inside the hospital buildings. The militants are currently barricaded in the area of the emergency department, and patients are being evacuated to another building.

According to the IDF, those detained include senior commanders from both factions. During interrogations, they provide the military with valuable intelligence.
