Hungary has opposed Ukraine's intention to join NATO, because this could lead to drawing the alliance countries into a military conflict, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said while speaking at a press conference on the results of the year.
"Ukraine’s membership in NATO means that we would be obliged to send troops there the very next morning. We don’t want that," the Hungarian PM said.
